John Cowan was raised in Fort Wayne. He was admitted into practice in 1996. He served as clerk in the Allen Superior Court for Judge Nancy Boyer and Judge Paul Mathias and was former Deputy Prosecutor in Whitley County. He is a registered Family Law Mediator and serves as an Arbitrator in the Allen Circuit Court. He is a member of the Allen County and Adams County Bar Associations and is one of the primary staff attorneys for the Decatur Office. He has served on the Volunteer Lawyers Program for over 10 years.
