On January 28, 2013, attorney Sophia Tippmann was elected Board President of the Burmese Advocacy Center, a Fort Wayne non for profit organization. The Burmese Advocacy Center serves Fort Wayne’s growing Burmese population to provide education, social, and employment services. It also provides outreach in cultural education to businesses, government agencies, and other community groups. Sophia welcomes the opportunity to strengthen the self-sufficiency of Fort Wayne’s Burmese population.
